SLB, an oil field service company, is recently trading at $107.95 in pre-open trading. This is above its close of $105.92.
Crude oil futures are recently up .95% to $130.20 according to Bloomberg.
PBR, a Brazilian oil conglomerate, announced its intent to hire 40 drilling ships and semi-submersible drilling platforms to operate in deep and ultra-deep waters.
SLB over all option implied volatility of 38 is near its 26-week average, suggesting non-directional price movement.
