Trading Block: S&P lowers credit projection on U.S. debt, yet long-term treasuries rise? Europe is dicier on the fixed income front, and the Euro is down against the dollar. Citi earnings come out, meet expectations. Crude oil gives back some recent gains.
Odd Block: Chelsea Therapeutics International Ltd. (CHTP) ADV=700, trades 11k on the news of a filing for a new Parkinson's drug. Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) ADV = 28k, does 42k on the day, the bulk of which was one sizable bearish trade tied to stock.
Xpress Block: SLV paper coming in; the more bearish the bets, the more SLV goes up. GLD moving forward, but not at the same pace as SLV. Bearish activities in soft commodities. As went AIG, so goes Citi? Bears and AAPL and GOOG?
