Implied Volatility Movers
Oracle (ORCL) implied volatility is easing after the company reported quarterly earnings and revenues that topped expectations. Shares are up 9 percent and implied volatility is down from 38 to 31, not far from a 52-week low of 28.5.
Implied volatility is also lower in Monsanto (MON), MGM, and American Greetings (AM). Meanwhile, implied volatility is higher in Expedia (EXPE), Sequenom (SQNM), and Sprint (S).

Monsanto (MON) options volume is running 3X the usual. 78,000 contracts traded and call volume accounting for 54 percent of today's volume.
Options activity in Medtronic (MDT) rose to 4X the usual, with 39,000 traded and call volume representing about 59 percent of the activity.
Rambus (RMBS) options activity is running 2X the usual. 37,000 contracts traded and put volume accounting for 59 percent of the activity.
Increasing volume was also seen in Motorola (MOT), Wellpoint (WLP), and Talbots (TLB).
