PBR volatility at 52 as shares near record high on oil exploratory
PBR closed at $122.18. A consortium formed by PBR (45% - Operator), BG (30%), and YPF Brasil (25%) are still following their exploratory program for Block BM-S-9, in the Santos Basin that may hold reserves of some 33 billion barrels of oil.
PBR May option implied volatility of 52 is near its 6-month average according to Track Data.
Intel-INTC
INTC April straddle at $1.64; May at $2.24 into EPS
INTC is recently trading at $20.83 in pre-open trading. INTC is scheduled to report Q1 EPS after the close tonight.
INTC April 21 straddle is priced at $1.64, May is at $2.24. INTC May option implied volatility of 43 is above its 26-week average of 36 according to Track Data suggesting larger price movement.
